You deserve to be unapologetically you.

- Leah Love

It can be hard to love yourself as a black woman.

Being a black woman isn’t easy. It often feels as if people want to put you in a box. Which makes it feel as if you can’t become everything you want to become, simply because of who you are.

This can lead to difficulties loving yourself and feeling as if you have to change who you are, just to fit into the world around you. The secret is simple. We must find a way to learn to love ourselves.

Chocolate Affirmations is a book for black women who want to become empowered to live a more authentic and unapologetic life as their true selves, despite what the world says. It’s a book about: truth, courage, perception, authenticity and love. But most importantly it’s a book about finding your truth.  Because in this life, your truth will set you free.

It's your time!

Meet Leah Love

Hello beautiful, my name is Leah Eber, creatively known as Leah Love. I’m an American entrepreneur, author, model, and retired elite track and field athlete. Chocolate Affirmations is my first self-published literary piece.

There are so many external forces which make it difficult for us to love ourselves as black women. After jumping in head first to get to know myself better; I reflected and learned how I can truly love myself as a black woman. I’m now ready to share what I’ve learned. My hope is that my journey can help you learn to love and appreciate yourself. I want you to learn to love everything you are and I want you to appreciate everything you have become.
